Lumina Station is a 50,000 square-foot lifestyle shopping center and 19,000 square-foot office park located just outside of Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington, NC. It first opened in 1996 and has long been a popular gathering place for locals and visitors to the beach.  Its distinctive architecture was inspired by Lumina, the historic Wrightsville Beach dance pavilion that was a popular local entertainment venue from 1905 until it closed in 1973. Coastal Living magazine recognized Lumina Station’s commitment to its coastal roots with the publication’s first award for contextual design.
